File formats

.form Form template
Questions, sections, and rules. No answers or attached files. Versions 1–3 are supported.
.submission Complete submission
One completed response, its exact form revision, and referenced attachments. Imported responses remain read-only; identical imports are recognized.
.forms Portable workspace
Forms, revisions, responses, and their files in a versioned ZIP package. Drafts are optional. Import creates copies; it does not replace your workspace.
Availability
A local-first app, still taking shape.
Forms is in development. macOS, iOS, and Android builds are checked locally; Windows and Linux have review-build workflows. Signed public installers and the web app are not available here yet.
Cave Accounts and optional Firebase sync are future integrations. Local work does not depend on them.
